The Nordcape Team

The Nordcape team is a virtual network of people who enjoy working, creating and collaborating in new ways – ways that are lighter, simpler, more fluid and more fun than ‘work’ is generally allowed to be. This is a way of working that works for us… and delivers for you.

It’s a team that is flexible, adaptable and adaptive, embryonic and growing. This is how we look as at April 2012, but don’t be surprised if it keeps developing as the months go by

The team is led by Lise Moen. Her vision is that this Nordcape way of being and doing would also be part of what she and her team help you achieve within your business and in your relationships with your business partners.

Lise Moen

Lise is the founder of Nordcape Ltd and manages the business on a day-to-day basis.

With a background and grounding as a classically trained marketer and 20 years of international experience in multi-nationals, start-ups and public sector, Lise enjoys running her own business and, more importantly, in a way which help her and her team flourish – as people and as a collaborative network of individual businesses.

She is passionate about how we can fire up people’s imagination and initiative by devising ways to unleash more freedom, creativity and contribution.

Lise is a writer with one manuscript languishing in the drawer whilst another is being created on-line at lisemoen.com.

Jan Scott Nelson

Jan is our tech wizard. She runs her own web design business (here, at janscottnelson.com) with a specific focus on developing sites using WordPress.

Since 2003, before which she was a manager in arts organisations, she has run her own one-woman business, initially as a life coach but now almost exclusively designing websites and grappling with other technology.

Jan is also a painter and involved in many other arts activities which she believes add an important dimension to her life and work. You can see some of her paintings at her website: Jan Scott Nelson.

Holly Rowan Hesson

Holly is a social media specialist. She runs her own creative social media consultancy business, as one half of Holly and Jan.

Her background in business is broad with project development and management, marketing and PR experience across the public, private, academic and third sectors. She loves helping businesses fulfil their potential through clever communicating and marketing, particularly using the amazing power of social media.

Holly is also a visual artist, working across abstract photography, painting and installation and will shortly be finishing her MA in Contemporary Fine Art. Explore her visual art work here: Holly Rowan Hesson, Visual Artist.

Holly and Jan

Holly and Jan work together helping all manner of businesses, from local sole traders to international companies, to effectively employ social media.

They are irrepressible and endlessly creative in their enthusiasm for and abilities in helping develop ways of being sociable to grow businesses.

Joanna Paterson

Joanna is a well known writer on the web, running the Confident Writing site as well as sharing more creative output, including poetry, flower and landscape photography, at The Art of Everyday Wonder.

She has a great deal of experience in writing to connect and engage on the web, including the shifts in language patterns and usage that are required, and permitted, through this emerging medium.

In days gone by she worked at a senior level in the civil service in Scotland, where she developed her skills of writing fast, often in short form, with just the right word in just the right place – but maybe not quite as much poetry as sneaks in nowadays
